Mark Geragos also reportedly threw the Osundairo brothers- the two Nigerians who say Jussie planned the ‘attack’ with them- under the bus, by hinting that they are the real perpetrators. Remember, Jussie originally said he was attacked by two White dudes.

To further back his client’s ‘innocence,’ Geragos, also reportedly pointed out that State Attorney Kim Foxx, dropped all 16 felony charges against Jussie. Again, even though Foxx also hinted that Jussie did commit the crime, but that she the city has more important crimes to fight instead.

There’s more:

Via TMZ: He [Geragos] then threatens that he will grill Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson like cheeseburgers in depositions if the City goes through with the lawsuit.

Geragos also says the City NEVER goes after individuals under these circumstances, threatening to mount a constitutional attack if the case goes forward.

As we reported a few days ago, Jussie and his legal team pretty much said ‘to hell’ with the  ‘Request Of investigation Costs for False Police Report,’ demand that Chicago’s law department sent to his lawyers. The official request demanded that Jussie pay back the full costs of the nearly 2 month long investigation that he allegedly staged, totaling a little over $130,000.00.

Then things got even worse for Jussie when he ignored the 7-day re-pay period, which then led to Chicago’s Law Department ‘drafting a civil complaint that will be filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County.’ By law, Chicago can now demand three times the amount of it’s original payback request, which could raise his bill from $130K to $390,000.00. Jussie also faces the possibility of having to stand trial in the city’s civil case.

Meanwhile, the State’s Attorney’s office is catching major flack for allowing Jussie to walk scot-free, without any community service, public confession/apology, nor fine (other than him forfeiting his $10K bail). The Superintendent, Mayor and many others have slammed the S.A. and the mystery surrounding Jussie’s dropped charges.
