Oftentimes Wendy Williams has some harsh judgmental opinions of celebs she covers on her show, but when it came to Lamar Odom, she admitted that she liked him too much, to truly dog the brotha out. Therefore, she kept her comments neutral, while also informing her audience of what Lamar did for her before her days on TV:
“I’m conflicted. I love Lamar Odom, as you know. The first time I ever met Lamar, what did he buy me? Jeans. He left his credit card on the counter he bought me some jeans,” Wendy told her audience. “I didn’t follow any basketball or any sports and at that time I wasn’t doing hot. I was on the radio. Who’s that big man and why he buy me some jeans?”
“I like Lamar and Lamar is a very nice man, he’s a very sweet man and he’s a very handsome man when he has himself together”.
Williams also had a message for Khloe Kardashian, regarding Lamar Odom:
“Khloe, you leave that man alone. You leave him alone. Khloe, move on, leave this man alone.”
Wendy also said she doesn’t believe Odom’s memoir was “done from a mean-spirited way,” and that she’s “really shocked this is not number one all over the universe.”

Though she’s diggin’ Lamar Odom and his book, she still admitted that she pretty much already knew everything about him, except for the part involving Taraji P. Henson (if you missed that, catch that scoop HERE).
Nevertheless, Wendy made her entire staff read “From Darkness To Light,” and suggests that y’all read it too.
