The current status of one of the victims who were shot, along with Nipsey Hussle, has many heated and understandably so. First off, let’s just say that there needs to be some SERIOUS changes made to the laws that continue to keep so many people of color incarcerated, even after they have served their debts to society, and what you’re about to witness is a true representation of that.
As most of you know, when Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed on March 31, 2019 in front of his Marathon Clothing Store in Crenshaw, Ca., so were two other men who were seen on video, standing next to him. Those men were his longtime friends and both survived the shooting. However, until a few days ago, it was unknown what the status of their gunshot wounds were.
Well, now we know that one of the men, Kerry Lathan, is unfortunately confined to a wheelchair as a result of the shooting. To make matters worse, the LAPD had the nerve to arrest Lathan days after the shooting.
