Today, August 29, 2017, would have been the iconic Michael Jackson’s 59th birthday. It’s still hard to believe that one of the greatest to have EVER done it has been gone from this earth for eight years now. Although he’s no longer here in the flesh, his legacy will continue to thrive for many generations to come, touching the lives of millions.
Of course, among those MJ was adored and loved unconditionally by, are his three children- Paris Prince, and Blanket, his parents- Joe and Mama Katherine, and his eight legendary siblings- Jackie, Tito, Marlon, Jermaine, Randy, Janet, Rebbie, and La Toya Jackson.
Earlier today, Paris took a moment to pay homage to the man she loved more than life itself, her father. Here’s what she shared online:
@parisjackson: birthday wishes to the love of my life, the one person who showed me what passion truly was, the one that gave me solid morals to live by and how to dream. i will never feel love again the way i did with you. you are always with me and i am always with you. though i am not you, and you are not me, i know with all of my being that we are one. and our souls will never change in that way. thank you for the magic, forever and always.
Paris also posted the below photo a fan made of her at the VMA Awards with a faint angelic-like image of her dad giving her a loving kiss on the temple.
**On a side note, if Michael were alive today, he’d probably still be smiling from ear to ear after witnessing how his 19 year old daughter stood up against White supremacists and hatred at the VMA Awards the other day. Much respect to you for that one Paris!**
So far, Paris’ two brothers haven’t shared any public birthday wishes to their Pops, but that is to be expected because they both prefer to be far less in the public’s eye than their sister. Pretty sure they’re privately paying homage to MJ though.
Also, Michael’s sister, La Toya, showed love to her brother with this cool birthday shout out on Twitter:
Happy Birthday to the most #loving #caring good hearted #talented person ever!
We miss U we #love U #MJ😘

Many fans have been showing MJ an outpouring of birthday love online with several photos and videos that bring back beautiful MJ memories spanning from the soulful 1970’s to the R&B/hip hop infused early 2000’s:

My favorite moment from The King of Pop, #MichaelJackson, is that FIRST time he floored us all with his moonwalk. Chills. pic.twitter.com/7nb899Q8Jv
