Lauryn Hill Defuses VIOLENT DRUNK FAN Incident On Stage In A Very Cool Way

Ms. Lauryn Hill has just earned herself some brownie points with her fans after previously standing her audience up for 3 hours recently. This time she displayed how she’s still one of the coolest artists ever, with the way she handled a drunken incident between two fans that went down right there in front of the stage as she was performing “Do Wop (That Thing)” at her Nashville, TN show the other night.

A drunk dude was harassing a young lady on the front row and he reportedly lost his cool and got a lil’ violent with her. Hill started trying to sing him through it to soothe the situation, by repeatedly singing the word, “Love,” and pointing at him at first. Then security rushed over to the drunk cat, hoisted the female up onto the stage and away from harm, as Hill instructed the band to keep playing, while simultaneously coaching the security to “be easy with” the drunk dude as they got him up outta there. Afterwards, fans applauded Lauryn’s professionalism and her sincerity for the young lady, as well as the drunk fan who was acting a fool on the front row.

In the video below, we don’t really see the altercation, but we see the female fan and the security reacting to the situation.

This just reminded us of one of the reasons we still love Lauryn Hill, despite her repeated ‘tardy for the party’ concert delays. Hopefully she’ll now show that same level of professionalism and sincerity in regards to her concert call times. That way she’ll prevent any further three hour show delays and pissed off fans will be a thing of the past for Ms. Hill. Good lookin’ out Lauryn!
