Listen up ILOSM fam,’ comedic actress, Leslie Jones wants y’all to know one thing: that the Ritz Carlton hotel operate with racist tactics and discriminate against people of color. That was the message she gave loud and clear after staying at the Ritz during BET Awards weekend, which took place this past weekend.
Leslie’s Ritz Carlton Warning:
Leslie hosted the BET Awards, which aired on Sunday (June 25th), and she KILLED it, as she does with everything she touches. However, when it came to the Ritz Carlton Hotel establishment, Leslie gave their performance a ZERO. She took to Twitter to warn others never to stay at there, with this message:

Her naysayers: BUT, on the flip side there was a great divide, showing that a bunch of Leslie’s WhiteĀ fans disliked her expressing her personal experience at the Ritz was a racist one. According to NYDailyNews, Ritz Carlton has also released this statement in response to Leslie’s claims:
Via NYDN: The Brandman Agency, the hotel chainās PR agency, told The News in a statement that they do not comment publicly about individual guests, but take their concerns seriously. āDiversity and inclusion are part of the fabric of The Ritz-Carltonās culture and operations,” the statement read. “We remain committed to providing an environment where all feel welcome.”
We don’t know all of the details, so we can’t make an accurate judgement call just yet on Ritz Carlton’s actions. But hopefully, Leslie Jones and the hotel will be able to get down to the bottom of what happened during her stay and make any necessary changes, if needed.
