Many people forget NBA legend Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson has three children carving their own separate paths in adulthood. Though Magic shares two children with wife of Cookie Johnson he also has an elder son with ex Melissa Mitchell. Andre Johnson was born 1981 during the early years of Magic’s NBA career before marriage. And though Magic’s first born leads a relatively quiet life he’s never too far away from his famous family.
Sticking Together
A few years ago we reported about a family beach outing in Hawaii with Magic and his eldest son Andre. The collective response, especially from the ladies, was “Where has he been all this time?” Honestly, he’s always been around.
When it comes to Magic and his family he is super supportive and has tons of love to spread with all of his children. Many recognize Magic’s youngest son Earvin ‘EJ’ Johnson III for his bold presence as a reality television star and advocate for the LGBTQ community. And sadly, many have become familiar with Magic’s daughter Elisa because of a recent home invasion that almost took her life. Thankfully outside of the constant media presence surrounding the Johnson family they all continue to provide the example for what true love looks like. And even though Andre is more low-key than his famous father and siblings he is living a very fulfilled life with a successful wife and two beautiful children.
