Man who Fatally Shot Nipsey Hussle Officially Charged with Murder: Faces Life if Convicted

A witness who asked to remain anonymous told KTLA he called 911 after noticing a man screaming and acting strange in the 9900 block of Artesia Boulevard.

L.A. County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene and detained the man until LAPD homicide detectives responded and positively identified him as Holder, police said.

The suspect was then booked on suspicion of murder. He is being held without bail, inmate records showed.

Holder faces up to life in prison if convicted on all charges, according to prosecutors.

Since his death on Sunday, the media, fans and the celebrity community has not ceased in paying homage to Nipsey. Several cities have held vigils, artists have created morals and paintings of the rapper and Congresswoman Karen Bass who represents California’s 37th District plans to enter the late rappers social contributions into Congressional Record where they would live on in perpetuity.
