One Dave Chappelle fan-turned-rival is probably heated after the news he’s just received in his infamously ignant banana peel tossing lawsuit. Yep, you read that right -in the banana tossin’ fan’s lawsuit against Chappelle…and not the other way around. Let us explain….

Remember when Dave Chappelle had a White dude arrested in 2015, after the man threw a banana peel at him during one of his stand-ups in Sante Fe, New Mexico? The incident happened after audience member, Christian Englander, got pissed off at a joke Dave told, and reacted, by throwing a banana peel at a brotha.

At the time, it was obvious to most people, that a White dude hurling a banana peel at a Black man was a seemingly wack, racist gesture. However, Englander claimed in a KRQE 13 News interview, that there was “no racial connotation” to his banana peel toss, stating that he “wasn’t implying [Chappelle] was any more of a money than I was.”

Nonetheless, he learned a lesson during that Sante Fe show, because Dave Chappelle had Englander thrown outta the building.

Chappelle later had Englander arrested on battery and disturbing the peace charges. Luckily for Englander, Dave decided he no longer felt like troubling himself with the prosecution proceedings, so he dropped the charges and kept it pushin.’
