Why Banana Throwing Fan Sued Chappelle
One would think that after the kindness Dave Chappelle showed to the offensive fan, Christian Englander, that the man would be grateful. Unfortunately, Englander had the nerve to turn around and file a lawsuit against Chappelle, in a seemingly get-rich-quick plot.
In his lawsuit, Englander claimed he got into an argument with Chappelle about a joke the comedian told, then threw the banana peel onstage, and that’s when Chappelle’s bodyguard supposedly hit him in the face two times, as he was being restrained by security. Hence, Englander’s reason for suing.
Why Fan Has Just Loss Case Against Chapelle
Fast forward to now and a New Mexico judge has just tossed out the case filed by the White dude who tossed the banana peel at Chappelle.
Why? Because ever since Christian Englander filed his lawsuit in March 2018, he’s been unable to locate Dave Chappelle to serve him the papers…and understandably so. The brotha is a busy man, who works hard for his money, instead of lookin’ for quick come-ups from others in frivolous lawsuits, but I digress.
The point is! The entire case against Chappelle has officially been dismissed and the banana peel tossin’ fan walks away without one red cent of Chapelle’s coins.
