His Shirt Was ‘Dingy’…

“Me and my nephew were going up the street to go console somebody else’s parents because they just lost their parent,” Lathan elaborates during the interview with Vlad TV. “So, he said, ‘You don’t have to keep wearing that shirt, Unc.’ I was like, ‘What?’ He was like, ‘This shirt.’ I was like, ‘It’s clean.’ He said, ‘Look, it’s dingy. You’re in the new world. You’re not in prison no more…matter of fact, there go Nipsey in the lot.’”

Kerry Lathan says his nephew suggested they pull into the lot, run in the store, and get a “fresh white shirt.” Kerry mentions that, when they browsed the store, the white shirt he wanted wasn’t in there.

So, Lathan asked when they’d have the shirt in stock. The store attendant directed them to Nipsey, who was standing in the parking lot — as seen from the surveillance footage.

After speaking with Nipsey for only a moment and asking the question, the late rapper told him “that’d be about a week, Bro,” according to Kerry. He says he confirmed with “aight.”

“But after I said it, it was all bad.”
