Manager Of R. Kelly Indicted For Felony…And It Just Got Real

As R. Kelly (52) prepares to have his day in court for the pending sex abuse cases against him, his manager, James Mason, just got tossed into the hot water with him. Now the manager is facing prison time.

Why R. Kelly’s Manager Just Got Indicted…
On Thursday, June 6, R. Kelly’s manager, Jason Mason, was indicted in a Henry County courthouse in the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell area of Georgia. According to the Henry County District Attorney, Mason is charged with one felony count of ‘making terroristic threats’ against the father of R. Kelly’s ‘tender-roni’ girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage (23).

In August 2018, we reported that Joycelyn’s dad, Timothy Savage, filed a police report against Mason in May 2018. He’d claimed that Mason made death threats against him, telling him, “I’m gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I’m gonna get you, I’m going to f****** kill you.”

It’s unclear why it took Henry County officials 3 months to arrest Mason on the charge in August, but he immediately bailed out and awaited his June 6, 2019 court date. Now, Mason is facing 1 to 10 years in prison for the alleged death threat…
