When it comes to stating her opinion, Mo’Nique has never been shy.
In an interview with Vulture magazine, she called Whoopi Goldberg “the help.” It came after The Parkers star made an appearance on The View to discuss her 2018 Netflix boycott.
The network only offered the veteran comedian 500K for her own stand-up special. Apparently, Whoopi told her she could have “schooled” her on how to understand contracts.
“When you have a woman saying, ‘I could have schooled you,’ someone would say, ‘What was the schooling going to be?’ When I look at this woman you say is our icon and our legend — she is,” Mo’Nique stressed.
“But, how many things has Whoopi Goldberg executive produced? Whoopi Goldberg has always been the help, and I say that humbly. So what is it that you’re going to school me on? I’ve been doing it for almost 30 years.”

If that wasn’t enough shade, Mo’Nique also came for Precious producers Oprah, Lee Daniels and Tyler Perry.
The 51-year-old was finally getting the recognition she deserved after her Oscar win from the film Precious.
But after being paid 50,000 dollars for the role, the actress objected to going to France to promote it. She then accused the producers of the film, of “blackballing her.”
At a stand up gig at the Apollo Theater, she told them all they could “suck [her] d**k, if [she] had one.”
In a chat with TMZ, Mo insisted, “Everything I say comes from my heart. I’m unapologetic about it.”
So on balance, is it fair to say Mo’Nique will also be facing the same karma she believes is coming for Wendy?
