Ever since the recent herpes allegations have surfaced about Usher, he’s been mostly silent on the issue and so has his family. Now though, his mother, Jonetta Patton, is speaking out about her son’s scandal and she is hella pissed, understandably so.

In case y’all aren’t aware, Jonetta and Usher were always extremely close. She is also the woman largely responsible for Usher’s success. Jonetta was Usher’s manager for many years, but eventually there was tension in their professional relationship and Usher decided to fire her in order to salvage their mother-son relationship. Jonetta is also known for being very protective of her son, so it’s only natural that she finally blasted off about his current situation. It appears that she’s also taking a few verbal jabs at Usher’s manager-wife, Grace Miguel, as well. In an online post Jonetta pointed out that this whole scandal would not be happening if she was still managing his career. Check out what she said below.

Usher’s Mother’s Statements On His Herpes Scandal

Usher’s mother first started with an inspirational approach, as she captioned a photo of Usher with these statements:

“Fame comes with a big ticket. Can you withstand the cost? I really want to know. A good name is better than riches!!!! Be carful what you aspire to be or ask ………”

Then came the shade and anger:

“Feeling good tonight! If I were IN CHARGE this USHER drama would never have gone down…too much positive work went into making this MEGA STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!……..I can’t stand by and watch this!!! I apologize to each and everyone of you!!!!!!!……too much for me!!!!!!!!!”

As we previously reported, for the past month or so, Usher has been at the center of controversy with the Herpes allegations he’s currently facing. Alleged victims, both male and female, have come forward with shocking claims against the singer. The latest claim is from another victim has come forth with a very disheartening story. According to the Daily Mail, a woman has revealed her twins were born still born and the cause is reportedly linked to Herpes, an STD she is said to have contracted from the Grammy Award-winning singer. At this point it isn’t clear exactly how much Usher is being sued for, but we do know that one of the victims is suing for $20 million.
