ILOSM fam’ Jamie Foxx is probably in a good mood about the news he’s just received, regarding a female accuser’s strange sex claim against him. The woman originally filed a sex assault claim against him, that was so weird, it was almost evident they’d end up here.
The Good News For Foxx
As we predicted when the story first broke in June 2018, the woman has no case. According to TMZ, Las Vegas PD have now confirmed that Foxx will not be facing any charges, after the unidentified woman accused him of striking her in the face with his penis in 2002. LVPD says the reason Foxx is cleared, is because the 3 year statute of limitations for the woman’s 16 year old claim ran out out long ago. LVPD also confirmed that the accuser cannot attempt to file a civil ‘suit either, because that, too, has succumb to the statute of limitations. Prior to now, the LVPD had his case listed as an ‘open investigation’ but now, the case is a done dada. But we have questions…
Why Was This Even A Case?
If the Las Vegas police department already knew there was a 3 year statute of limitations on the woman’s claims, why was and open investigation even sparked against Jamie Foxx? The woman stated in her legal docs, that her allegations were from 2002. Pretty sure LVPD knew from the jump, that she had no case with her odd, 16 year old claims- ya know, being that they’re law enforcement and all.
Aside from the fact that the aging of the claims seem suspect, lets talk about the actual claim itself and what the accuser said her motive was.
On June 12, 2018, Jamie and his legal team were shocked to learn that the accuser filed a police report against him out of the blue. In her report, the accuser claimed that not only did Jamie Foxx slap her in the face with his penis in 2002, but it caused her to have to go to the hospital.
How did her face end up by Jamie’s penis?
So, if you’re wondering how the woman’s face allegedly ended up by Jamie’s penis to begin with, that question remains unanswered. However, the accuser did give her account of what she says went down that day to TMZ:
According to law enforcement, the accuser told cops…she and a friend were attending a party at Jamie’s place when he tried to get her to perform oral sex. She claims when she refused, Jamie struck her in the face with his penis. The accuser tells us … after the alleged assault, one of Jamie’s friends told her she had to get out of the house. She claims she went to a hospital the next day when she got back home to L.A. to get treatment for a severe panic attack.
Accuser’s Reason For Filing
As we also previously reported, the accuser told TMZ that the #MeToo movement has inspired her to come forward 16 years after the alleged penis slap occurred. She also admitted she’s hoping to spearhead a movement against Jamie, by filing her police report. She hopes other woman will now make similar claims against Jamie…if they have been penis slapped by him, or something to that nature.
Jamie Foxx Strikes Back
Jamie’s not havin’ that:
Here’s what Jamie’s attorney, Allison Hart of Lavely & Singer, had to say at that time:
“Jamie emphatically denies that this incident ever occurred, and he will be filing a report with the Las Vegas Police Department against the woman for filing a false police report against him. The first time [Jamie] became aware of this woman’s absurd claims about an incident that supposedly occurred 16 years ago was when TMZ contacted his representatives about this story. … The alleged incident was not reported to law enforcement in 2002, or at any other time in the last 16 years until [June 2018] because the incident never happened.”
Quite frankly, it seems like this was nothing more than an intentional character assault against a high profiled celeb.’ Or rather, another opportunity to attach a #MeToo stigma to Jamie’s name and likeness.
