Looking for comfort during a very emotional time in her life Keke reached out to Zachariah via social media just to check in and see how he was doing. The two had been friends since childhood, and actually Zachariah was Keke’s first boyfriend! In an interview with TMZ Keke admitted that she had no intention of hooking up with Zachariah when she hit him up. She was just saying ‘Howdy’.

“I reached out to Zachariah and I was like “Hey what’s up, how you doin’?” Not looking for love. Not looking for nothing. That’s the God’s honest truth. Just saying “Howdy” because I didn’t know if he had a girl, or whatever. I was just saying “Hey”, and he was like “Girl, what’s up?”

Their re-connection turned into something much stronger and the two of them tied the knot in October of 2018 in an private ceremony in Indianapolis, where Keke grew up. And it seems like things are still going well for the both of them, as witnessed by the huge diamond ring Zachariah gave Keke for her birthday, which she proudly showed off on Instagram.

It’s good to see Keke happy once again! She’s got a new man and her son is free from cancer so it looks like Keke has finally come out of the storm. And that rock is so big and shines so bright I hope that it’s a symbol of the love Zachariah has for Keke for the rest of their lives together.
