NFL icon/civil rights activist, Jim Brown (80), was recently spotted in LAX airport with his lovely 40 year old “tender-roni” wife, Monique Brown. Okay, we know their 40 year age difference is surprising, but what’s even more surprising to many, is Jim’s response when asked about Pres. Donald Trump and also about Kanye West’s recent reversal of support for Trump after he didn’t get invited to the presidential inauguration.

Before we get into what Brown recently said at the airport, we’ll fill you in on what he said a while back about this topic in case you missed it: Jim Brown voted for Hillary Clinton and publicly supported her throughout the presidential election. However, after Trump won the election, Jim said he would support Trump as president and that he disagreed with his fellow civil rights leader, Congressman John Lewis,’ sentiments that Trump is not a “legitimate President” due to the intelligence findings that Russia allegedly hacked the election to help Trump win. Brown’s reaction to Lewis was that although he, himself [Brown], was also “defeated” by Trump’s win, “He won, in my opinion, fair and square, and I’m going to support him as President of the United States.”
The one detail Jim overlooked was that he based his assessment off of his “opinion,” while Congressman Lewis is basing his off of highly classified information that prominent politicians, such as himself, recently were made aware of. But now Jim Brown had more to say…
Jim Brown has further explained his alternative view about the ‘alternative facts’ president, recently telling TMZ that “His [Trump’s] seat is a great seat of power. The president won his position. He is president. If he can give me respect, I sure can give him respect. And if I can go to have him help poor people, inner city people … then why shouldn’t I do that?”
As far as Kanye, Brown was pretty much like ‘that’s Kanye’s business, not mine.’ See what else he said below.

Many would argue that Brown’s viewpoint is based on an ‘alternative fact.’ While it is a fact that Trump holds a powerful position, it’s an ‘alternative fact’ that Trump’s opposers have to simply sit back and accept Trump’s ruling. That’s evident in the millions who have protested and brought major heat to Trump’s executive orders, several of which Trump and his team reportedly have now had to discreetly abandon due to pressure from the public’s opposition, according to reports by MSNBC and several other media outlets.
Anywho, ILOSM fam’ let us know what you think about Jim Brown’s ‘alternative view’ on Trump.
