NFL Hall of Famer, turned actor, Lawrence Taylor (L.T.), is no stranger to a few run-ins with the law. He’s admittedly had his fair share of cocaine drug arrests and we can’t forget about that prostitution-for-hire situation in 2010. Since then, he’s pretty much been staying clear of legal woes, but on Friday (Sept. 2nd) evening at approximately 5:20 p.m. he was arrested ‘on suspicion of a DUI’, according to WPTV News.
He was driving his Bentley in Palm Beach, FL and ended up hitting crashing into a motor home, then switching lanes and side swiping a police car. After L.T. hit that cop car, he probably KNEW he was going to jail…no if’s, and’s, or but’s about it! So, needless to say, Palm Beach Highway patrol officers arrested L.T. on the spot and booked him into Palm Beach County Jail. Not sure if he’s still there, but we’re glad no one was hurt and we hope this was just an unfortunate one-time thing and that L.T. isn’t having any current struggles with alcohol.
Again, as it stands right now though, he was arrested on “suspicion”of a DUI. Maybe it hasn’t actually been confirmed through testing that he was in fact drunk. We’ll update the story as we get more info.
