Nick Gordon Resurfaces w/New Regular Job That’ll Take Him A Long Time To Pay Bobbi’s Fam $36M

In November 2016, when Nick Gordon was found “legally responsible” for the death of Whitney Houston’s and Bobby Brown’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, he was ordered to pay Bobbi’s estate $36 million. Well, based on the new job he’s just landed, it’s gon’ take Nick a loooooong time before he ever pays off that debt.

Nick and Bobbi Kristina

Nick’s been trying to fly under the radar ever since the beloved Bobbi Kris’ passed away on July 26, 2015 from complications due to drugs, after being submerged underwater in her bathtub and found with multiple bruises on her body, according to reports. Nick was a ‘person of interest’ in the case into the cause of her death, but no criminal charges have been brought against him at this point. In regards to the low profile he’s trying to maintain though, he’s been unsuccessful, somewhat. A few months ago, Nick made headlines after being arrested for allegedly beating and kidnapping his girlfriend, Laura Leal. A few months later, he made headlines again when he and Laura resurfaced for a very odd interview, in which she’s then said Nick beat her because it was pretty much her fault.

Attorney Speaks About Nick’s New Regular Job

Nick has managed to resurface again and is making headlines after his attorney has confirmed that he is now employed as a grass cutter and is reportedly finally sober and drug-free. Here’s what was reported via US Weekly:

Gordon, 27, who was ordered to pay $36 million last November in the wrongful death lawsuit brought against him by the conservator and family of the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, is “100 percent innocent,” his attorney Joe Habachy tells Us Weekly exclusively.

Habachy tells Us that Gordon, who entered rehab for drug abuse after Dr. Phil intervened in March 2015, “is currently employed as a landscaper” in Orlando, Florida.“Nick has continued to pursue sobriety and spends most of his time with family and working out,” he adds.

How Many Lawns Nick Has To Cut To Earn Enough To Pay Bobbi Kristina’s Estate

Like we said, it’s gonna be a very long time before Nick earns that $36 mill’ to pay the Browns and Houstons. Based on our hypothetical calculations, the average cost of a lawn cut in Sanford, Florida (where Nick reportedly lives) is about 30 bucks. That means he’ll have to cut approximately 1.2 MILLION LAWNS just to earn that $36 million he owes to Bobbi Kristina’s estate. Dayumn!!! Nick better get tuh cutting…just saying.

How Does Bobby B. Feel About This?

On a side note, like Nick Gordon, Bobby Brown understands struggles with sobriety and relationships, as he bravely discussed in his book, Every Little Step. However, it’s probably taking everything in Bobby B. to maintain his composure whenever he sees Nick’s face. Continued condolences to Bobbi Kristina’s family and loved ones. May she continue to rest peacefully with her beautiful mother, Whitney Houston.
