What’s The Deal:

According to the publication, the talk about a Martin reboot began when Moradfa took to social media with an interesting Instagram post. “Got word from my fiancé that my favorite show may be coming back…” Moradfa posted. Of course, The Shade Room did a little comment creepin’, shedding light on Martin’s response. The famed comedian/actor responded with eyeball emojis. Since Martin offered a subliminal response to the post, he only raised speculation about the show’s comeback. However, the speculation didn’t receive the reaction many may have expected. Some fans are actually against the idea of a Martin reboot.

Not Here For It:

Of course, we all love Martin but there a couple reasons why people aren’t too thrilled about the possibility of a reboot. For those who don’t know, things didn’t end well between Martin and Tisha Campbell, and of course, the death of Thomas Mikal Ford puts a different spin on things. Just those aspects alone have fans leary about reviving Martin.

Many have taken to Twitter with their reactions to the news and they agree Martin is a classic that should be just that – an untouched classic. Check out some of the tweets:

Martin debuted back in 1992 and aired for five seasons before it was canceled in 1997. During the show’s run, it was rated as one of FOX’s highest-rated sitcoms. So, a comeback just might be successful if the majority of Martin’s fans tune in. Would you be up for a Martin reboot? Share your thoughts.
