O.J. Simpson Fed Up With Goldman Family Coming After Him, Takes Legal Action

O.J. Simpson is tired of the late Ron Goldman’s family dragging him to-and-fro to court constantly and has now taken legal action to try to get them to stop, according to his latest court filing. News has just surfaced that ‘The Juice’ had his attorney put in a request to the judge, because he says the Goldman family are pretty much breathing down his neck for the millions he owes them.

Following O.J.’s non-guilty verdict in his 90’s murder trial, the Goldmans won a civil lawsuit against O.J.. He was found civilly liable for the deaths of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. O.J. now owes the Goldmans $100 million.

Soon as he was released from prison in October 2017, the Goldmans filed legal docs with the court, because they believe he’s been making money that should be going to them. Ever since their filing, O.J. claims they’ve repeatedly taken him to court and make it tough for him to earn money. Here’s what else he and his attorney had to say:

Via The Blast: According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Simpson claims that Ron Goldman is trying to take Simpson to court over rumored deals he has made, not actual ones. Simpson’s lawyers say Simpson “wishes to readjust to civilian life and family life” but claims that Ron Goldman and his attorney “are intent on shattering that.” The Juice claims Goldman “use unconfirmed stories from news outlets” and “drag” him into court “every time there is a mere vague allegation involving Mr. Simpson’s commercial exploitation of himself.”

There’s more:

Simpson argues that Goldman’s recent repeated filings are hindering his ability to work. Simpson’s lawyers say, “If Mr. Simpson is consistently forced to respond to discovery every two weeks, he will be left with no time to earn a living.”

Although O.J. said he isn’t earning much at this time, he did admit that he held one autograph signing of his vintage sports memorabilia, in which he earned some profit. However, he claims he had to use that money to pay his legal fees to another attorney. As far as any future income, O.J. says he’s been in talks with some folks about an unspecified potential deal, but nothing has been inked yet.

Looks like the Goldman family is going to be waiting a tad bit longer before they get their $100 mill’ from O.J..
