ILOSM family if you’re like me, then you’ve probably have been crackin’ up off of actress/comedian, Tiffany Haddish, on “The Carmichael Show” for a while now. If not, then you may have checked her out in the hit movie, “Girls Trip,” where she was funny as hell as well. This time is no different.
In her new interview with LA Times, Tiffany gave her honest answer when asked who her comedic inspirations were. In doing so, she paid homage to some of her favorite Old School comedians, including Bill Cosby, whose ‘juice’ she said she’ll drink. Let her explain below…
Tiffany Haddish: “Definitely Richard Pryor. Bill Cosby — I still want to work with Bill Cosby, I don’t care, I’ll drink the juice. I’ll drink the juice. I’ll take a nap. I don’t give a damn. [laughs] But seriously, I would love for him to play my grandfather in something. Lenny Bruce is one of my people that I look up to. And Carol Burnett, Moms Mabley, even Mo’Nique’s crazy ass. I like her boldness and her truth. But there’s so many women … Regina Hall. Regina is a comedic genius and I love that I got the opportunity to work with her and to watch her and to be able to learn from her. Now, I already have [comedic] timing, but her time is so on time that I want my time to get even better.”
As you can see, Tiffany said she will go to the extreme to work with her idol, Cosby. Thankfully, she was just kidding about the ‘juice’ part. By the way, let me state the politically correct disclaimer before closing out this article: So far Cosby has only been accused, but not proven guilty of any crime, including getting any woman to “drink the juice.” Peace family…thanks for reading.
