Many of us from the Old School era have supported Nelson Mandela’s movement in Africa for years and admired the extreme sacrifice and dedication he made toward helping the people of his homeland for decades. So we wanted to share with you a heartbreaking story that has just surfaced regarding one of Mandela’s 17 grandchildren, Mbuso Mandela. Mbuso (24) was arrested a few days ago for allegedly raping a 15 year girl at a very popular South African restaurant, located in Greenside, suburb of Johannesburg (SA).

Mbuso is currently in police custody and will appear in a Johannesburg (SA) magistrates court on Friday for a bail hearing, said police spokeswoman Brig. Mashadi Selepe. He made a brief appearance in court on Monday when he was initially charged with rape. Selepe also stated that the alleged rape supposedly took place on Aug.7, 2015. It was reported to police a week later and Mbuso was arrested last Saturday (8-15-2015).
