His Dad is from Memphis, TN who at one time, was a drummer for rock-n-roll pioneer, Jerry Lee Lewis. Dennis has been a musician ever since James Brown made his drummer give Dennis his set of drums back when Dennis was a very young man. That became Dennis’ first set of drums and prior to that, he said he would play nonstop on his makeshift drums: one of those big tin tubs that folks used to bathe in back in the day and a broken mop handle as his mallet.
