Questions, Extortion & Confessions?….
Avenatti (pictured above) is the attorney responsible for spearheading the latest charges against R. Kelly, by providing the sex tape of what he says is R. Kelly having sex with an underaged girl. Now that Avenatti’s credibility has been tarnished to be damnneth, Greenberg is also raising doubt about the actual tape: (1) He raises the issue of “chain of custody,” meaning how Cook County, IL officials actually got the tape from Avenatti; and (2) Greenberg is also raising serious presumptions that the sex tape is altered.
There’s another issue. According to sources closely tied to R. Kelly’s case, the dude who gave the sex tape to Avenatti has a long history with Kelly- reportedly a history of extortion. According to reports, the man confessed to prosecutors that to date, he has extorted approximately $1 MILLION from R. Kelly to stop the tape from going public.

Questions…
Did the man decide to give the tape to Avenatti only because R. Kelly is broke and has no more money to pay him? Is the tape real? Are the extortion claims true?
Given Kelly’s past alleged history with sex tape controversies, it’s highly possible that the answers to the above questions could very well be yes, yes, and yes. However, as long as R. Kelly’s attorney can raise reasonable doubt about the credibility of the sex tape, it’s sources, and any shady steps that were taken to obtain it, R. Kelly may actually have a shot…wow.
By the way, the recent legal actions against not one, but TWO opposing attorneys against R. Kelly, will further help the very man, the attorneys were battling. Atty. Michael Avenatti has just gotten indicted by the feds and Atty. Lydia Agu (who represents another R. Kelly accuser) has just been convicted of felonies and is facing decades in prison upon sentencing. Geesh!
