Tyrese’s social media meltdown sparked a media firestorm earlier this week. For those who missed it, the Fast & Furious star took to Instagram with a video about his daughter. For most fans, the video was quite shocking because the world saw a very different side of Tyrese. While tearfully talking about his daughter, he broke down and admitted he’s nearly broke. Of course, there were some fans who expressed compassion for Tyrese, but some people weren’t cutting him any slack. Apparently, 50 Cent is one of those people.
Playin’ No Games:
According to Baller Alert, 50 Cent had a pretty comical response to Tyrese’s video. Earlier Thursday, the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ rapper took to Instagram with a clip of Tyrese crying and captioned it, “F*** him.” 50 made it clear he couldn’t care less about Tyrese’s situation and he offered a surprising reason for throwin’ shade at the dude. With laughing emojis, 50 captioned the post, “He should a mind his business when I was talking to Taraji, he come jumping in like he think we in a f***ing movie.” 50 continued, “Punk a*** Coca Cola kid.” 50 also accused Tyrese of breaking down simply because he’s facing financial woes. To many fans, nothing 50 does is surprising, but this time he definitely turned heads.
A Cry For Help:
50’s post follows Tyrese’s viral video. While talking about his legal ordeal with his estranged ex-wife, Norma Gibson, he broke down when he started talking about how he hasn’t seen his daughter in the past two months. Then, to make matters worse, he took a verbal jab at The Rock and admitted he was angry over the Fast & Furious Hobbs spin-off because he needs the money to make the staggering child support payments for his daughter.
“Don’t take my baby. This is all I got. Don’t take my baby, okay?” Gibson says in the video as he starts sobbing. “I’ve been away from my baby for two months. I just want my baby and no one’s listening cause no one’s in the courtroom – I’m at $13,000 a month, what more do you want from me? I don’t hate you Norma. I don’t know why you hate me, but I don’t hate you. But you just can’t wake up on September 11th and accuse me of something I didn’t do!”
Since the wheels of the justice system turn extremely slow, the child abuse investigation launched against Tyrese will probably take months. So, he’ll be fighting an uphill custody battle for quite some time.
