Phaedra Parks Reportedly Asked To Return To RHOA, But Here’s What The Network Had To Say

Back in April, Phaedra Parks sparked a media firestorm when the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion special aired. The successful Atlanta attorney made headlines after she accused -nah, scratch that politically correct stuff- after she cleasrly lied on Xscape singer, Kandi Burruss, and her husband, Todd Tucker, claiming they conspired to drug and rape their RHOA co-star, Porsha Williams. Although Phaedra may have thought nothing of her comments, the situation quickly imploded and reportedly left Phaedra in the reality TV unemployment line. Many reports state that didn’t take long for her to be dropped from the RHOA cast quicker than Nene could say “I’m rich b**ch.” Phaedra parted ways with Bravo just a few months ago, but now it is being reported that she’s already trying to get back on board.

Wantin’ That Ole Thang Back?:

Of course, season 10 is already in the books, but, according to The Jasmine Brand, insiders claim Phaedra has already reached out to the network in hopes of getting her job back for season 11 next year. Unfortunately, the insider insists Phaedra is already having money woes and she really needs her job back to stabilize things. “She’s desperate for cash,” an insider told Radar Online. “She’s trying to sell one of her homes and lease a recently purchased home because she doesn’t have the substantial income that she was earning on RHOA.”

It has been reported that Phaedra has been making a serious effort to reach out to the producers, but unfortunately they haven’t shown any interest, according to the insider.”She has been in constant contact with producers asking to make a cameo or be part of the series in some capacity. They have repeatedly declined her offers because she no longer has an organic relationship with any of the season 10 cast members.”

‘RHOA’ Future For Phaedra?:

It’s unclear whether or not Phaedra will be allowed to return, but last time Andy Cohen was asked about the whole ordeal, he revealed most of the RHOA cast did not want anything to do with Phaedra. Their refusal to film with Phaedra also created a number of other issues that ultimately contributed to the network’s decision to part ways with her. “Well look, we’re looking at next season. And you have to look at where we left off, which is none of the women want to engage with her, so that’s a tough place to come back from.”

The season 10 premiere of the Real Housewives of Atlanta is set to air sometime in November.
