Milli Vanilli: Rob Pilatus (L); Fab Morvan (R)

The late Milli Vanilli singer, Rob Pilatus (pictured on the left), sadly passed away on August 2, 1998, from an overdose of alcohol and prescription meds. The thing we didn’t know back then is that he was a lot different from that bubble gum pop persona Milli Vanilli portrayed back in the day.

It turns out he was involved in quite a few criminal acts throughout his life. Flip the page to see hoe Rob was wildin’ out back in the day…

  1. They were some beautiful brothers. Someone should have come their defense. The industry used them and threw them away. I wish him well.

    1. It’s really sad how it ended up for them. They made a horrible decision when they agreed to lip-synch their vocals and to me it just sounds like they needed better guidance and a better team in their corner. I wish Fab Morvan the best and may Rob Pilatus continue to rest well.

  3. I could care less about lip syncing, people do it all the time, and it’s a strain on your voice, to try to sing AND dance at the same time. I still like their songs, no matter who was singing it lol. As for fab, I saw him at a few clubs and he was a complete jerk. Did i approach him? No, but, I didn’t have to in order to see how he was treating people.
