We all knew this was coming. Ever since learning that the late, great Prince took his last breath in 2016 without having a will, it was only a matter of time before the drama surfaced among family members.

As we’ve previously reported, there have been ongoing whispers and revelations that Prince’s six living siblings- Tyka, Omarr, Norrine, Sharon, Alfred, and John- have been divided amongst each other over Prince’s millions and the future of his estate. Well, now some of the siblings are currently fighting another battle and that is against the bank that is over seeing the estate.

The siblings have taken the estate overseer, Comerica Bank, to court twice in the month of December alone. For both trips, they took to the courthouse, they walked away with an ‘L.’ Here’s what just went down and why the siblings are highly pissed off with the estate’s overseers:

Via TheBlast- A judge has shut down Prince‘s heirs in their attempt to have Comerica Bank removed as the administrator of Prince’s trust. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the court also appointed a mediator to “ensure a high level of communication between the Personal Representative [Comerica] and the heirs.” In trying to have Comerica Bank removed, the heirs alleged that they failed to protect and manage Prince’s assets, did not protect the music catalog from unauthorized use, and lacked the “necessary business expertise” to “navigate the needs of the Estate in the entertainment industry.”

Two of Prince’s half-sisters, Sharon and Norrine, alleged a representative of Comerica threatened Sharon during a meeting earlier this year. Comerica denied the allegation and Prince’s half-brother Omarr said he was at the meeting in question and did not observe any physical confrontation.

There’s more…

The heirs and Comerica previously battled over the location of Prince’s vault and whether it was in harm’s way of the California wildfires. The judge ruled on Comerica’s behalf and issued a testy letter in response, saying, “The Court strongly condemns bringing this matter before the Court without adequate discussion between the parties and will sanction a party for doing so in the future.”

Just like Notorious B.I.G. once said, “Mo money, mo problems.”
