As former Death Row head honcho, Suge Knight, serves his 28 year prison sentence for a fatal 2015 hit-and-run incident, he’s spoken out about Nipsey Hussle’s tragic murder. It’s been a while since the public heard from the cat who was once the most feared man in hip hop, but he the Compton, Cali. native felt compelled to give hs take on why he thinks Nipsey was really killed.
In a brief phone interview with TMZ, Suge said he can completely relate to Nipsey and the role he played within his community, after making it outta the hood. According to the former CEO, sometimes having “loyalty” to the hood can leave one in a jacked up situation.
“A lot of artists like Nipsey have the same problem that I had. We are too loyal to our neighborhood,” [said Suge]. He says, even though you have enough money to move, you want to stay on the block because “when you go around Hollywood it’s all watered down.”
