Sadly, we’ve lost yet another celebrity in 2016 ILOSM family. Comedian/actor, Ricky Harris passed on Monday, December 26 at the young age of 51.
Many of you may remember when he made his mark as the host of Russel Simmons’ Def Comedy Jams back in the day. He also had many other roles in films such as Poetic Justice, Murder Was The Case, Woman Thou Art Loosed, Dope and many more; as well as several TV series, including Moesha, Everybody Hates Chris, and others. Ricky has also worked with several hip hop artists, including Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg.
MANAGER GIVES DETAILS ON RICKY’S DEATH
Via LA Times: Ricky Harris, a comedian known for both his racy stand-up act and his appearances in family-friendly fare such as the TV series “Everybody Hates Chris,” died Monday, his manager said. The cause was not immediately known. But Harris’ manager, Cindy Ambers of Art/Work Entertainment, said Harris had suffered a heart attack two years ago.
