Fans Ecstatic After R.Kelly Deletes Very Questionable Tweet That Caused Major Backlash

R. Kelly has catching more heat than a little bit lately. This go ’round it isn’t directly related to the recent “sex cult” scandal against him, but that also depends on which fans and/or non-fans you ask.

R.Kelly’s Controversial Tweet

The latest problem for Mr. Bump N’ Grind is a tweet that he posted on Tuesday (9-13-17), which received mixed reactions from many. Some were pissed and others were in his corner. So what’s all the hoopla about, you ask? Here it is…

R. Kelly’s tweet read, “All it takes is one ‘yes’ to change your life. #WaitOnIt #MorningsWithKellz #RKelly.”

Now, for those who follow R. on Twitter, they are accustomed to getting morning motivational types of tweets from him on the regular. That’s what it appears he was attempting to give, based on the #MorningsWithKellz hashtag he included, which he typically uses to mark his motivational posts:

Fan Reactions

Many on Twitter accused R. Kelly’s ‘no/no/yes’ tweet of having rape-ish connotations. Soon after people started to leave comments about the tweet, either Kelly or someone in his camp deleted it from his page. That didn’t stop the comments from rolling in though…people were happy he took it down to say the least…

It’s understandable why some felt that Kellz’s tweet was rape-ish. Once you factor in the past allegations and the new ones against him, one’s mind can easily go in that direction. But after seeing his other #MorningsWithKellz tweets, it’s kinda clear to see that Kelly probably thought his latest yes/no tweet would have been interpreted as some sort of motivation. Given, if he were another singer, it probably would have been viewed that way, however, he is not.

Sure, it may seem unfair that R. Kelly has to take different steps in life than other artists do, but he’s R. Kelly- not Warren Sapp, nor Luther Vandross. In other words, Kellz has to forever consider the fact that his reputation will probably always and forever precede his actions. Proceed with caution R. Kelly.
