R.Kelly’s Ex-Wife Reveals More Graphic Claims About Their Marriage..Calls Him “Monster”

Over the years, R. Kelly has been one of those celebrities, who has managed to slip through the cracks of controversy. Despite the harrowing stories and many different disturbing sex scandals that the “Bump N’ Grind” singer has been faced with, he’s always managed to come out on top. That doesn’t mean some fans haven’t been giving him suspicious side eyes the whole time though. Now, his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, is speaking out for a second time in a matter of weeks, revealing her claims about their marriage and it doesn’t look good for Kellz.

Drea: ‘He’s A Monster’

During a recent interview, the Hollywood Exes star tearfully recalled the alleged abuse she says suffered at the hands of the Grammy Award-winning singer. She immediately began with a vivid description of her ex-husband. “He’s definitely a monster,” she said. Similar to the women who have spoken publicly about R. Kelly’s rumored sex cult, Drea says she felt like a prisoner during her 10-year marriage to Kelly. Although the two were married, she insists that’s not what it felt like at all. “I often say I spent 10 years being married, but I don’t know what it’s like to be a wife…what was supposed to be my big beautiful mansion ultimately became my prison,” said Drea.

Tied Up and Abused?:

Drea went on to describe a nightmare marriage that sounds eerily similar to several sex cult rumors. Like many of the other accusers have said, she says she also was forced to call him “daddy,” and that when she forgot to do so, there were severe repercussions. Throughout recent years, there has been speculation about whether or not R. Kelly has been physically abusive in relationships. Drea says there was physical and verbal abuse in the marriage, according to Inside Edition.

She said their relationship often involved physical violence, with yelling and screaming a common occurrence. She added that he would throw things.

As expected, Drea’s interview has caught the attention of fans everywhere, as she isn’t the first person to call the singer a monster. However, she was the woman married to him so her account definitely raises eyebrows since its vastly similar to the previous claims. Drea’s statements follow a Rolling Stone interview with R. Kelly’s accuser Kitti Jones. Like Drea, Kitti also called R. Kelly a “monster.”

During the interview, Kitti recounted an alleged incident when she mentioned his child pornography case and she claimed that was the first time she saw him snap.  “He said, ‘B***h, don’t you ever f**king accuse me of something like that,'” Kitti said. “He never had spoken to me like that before.” She went on to admit that he seemed like more of monster than the romantic R&B singer so many fans love. “My heart was just beating through my chest,” she said. “He just turned into a monster. I blamed myself ’cause I was like, ‘Maybe I shouldn’t’ve said anything.'” Like Drea, Kitti reportedly parted ways from Kelly as well.

No Turning Back:

When Drea apparently, finally had enough of her ex-husband’s alleged abuse, she made a decision that she says ultimately changed her life for the better. Drea revealed a domestic abuse hotline gave her the courage to pack her things and leave him. She left with only $2,500 and a duffle bag. “It really was like the scene out of a movie,” she said. “We drove off [into] the sunset and I never went back,” she said tearfully.
