Really? 10 Years AFTER Divorce, See HOW MUCH $ Prince’s Divorce Lawyers Want

Okay people, we’ve all heard of some outlandish things going down ever since the beloved Prince passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2016, and this is just seems like another one to stack on top of the pile. Not only are fake kids and delusional women claiming to be his wives stepping forward to get a chunk of Prince’s $200-$300 million estate, but now so are his divorce attorneys…and they say they have good reason, so let’s hear them out…

Word on the Old School curb is that the divorce attorneys just sued Prince’s estate because they say that after he divorced his ex-wife, Manuela Testolini (pictured below), in 2006, he still owed them almost $600,000. But apparently it took them 10 YEARS after the divorce and 8 MONTHS after Prince’s death to make such claim and/or conclusion. Check out the details:

Via TMZ: Cousins Law Firm in West Palm Beach filed a claim with the singer’s estate demanding payment of a $599,735.63 bill. Patrick Cousins tells TMZ the bill dates all the way back to Prince’s 2006 divorce from second wife Manuela Testolini. Cousins says he and Prince were tight and had an agreement the singer didn’t have to pay until all the loose ends were tied up. We asked the lawyer what would take 10 years to complete, but he wouldn’t say. Cousins claims he finished everything on April 1 … Prince died April 21.

So let me get this straight, according to the attorney, he and Prince were homies, so he cut Prince some slack on the bill, and in turn, it took them 10 years to ‘tie up loose ends’?!! Those ends must have been loose, frayed, fried, and shredded because it sounds like they had to damn near be recreated if it took that long to ‘tie ’em up’…just saying.

Overall, this just sounds fishy to me, but hey, what do I know, I’m not involved in any of Prince’s finances, so his attorneys may be right…or foul. And just like the legal system says, everyone’s innocent until proven guilty. It’s probably just a matter of time to see which side of the fence they actually fall on.

Continue to rest well Prince.
