Backs Against The Wall: Chicago May Use R.Kelly’s Case To Redeem Themselves For Jussie Smollett

This scenario almost reminds us of the 1994 Oj Simpson case, where he was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown. Over the years people started to realize that he more than likely did murder her and basically got off scott free.

As you recall R.Kelly faced similar charges on sex abuse with a minor years ago and was acquitted.  Simpson was arrested in 2007 on robbery charges in Vegas and the prosecution team was not going to let him go so easily. He ultimately ended up being sentenced to 33 years with the possibility of parole after nine years. There was a debate on whether the time fit the crime. However most people felt as though it was redemption from letting him walk on the murder charges.
