Remember when everybody was singing the song, “We Must Be In Love,” along with these four SANGIN’ sisters, Pure Soul? They pretty much were on every wedding playlist of the mid 1990’s with that song and every last one of the members- Shawn Allen, Kirsten E. Hall, Keitha Shepard and Heather Perkins- could really sing!

Their one and only album titled, “Pure Soul,” had three major hits on Billboard, “We Must Be In Love, “Freedom,” and a cover of The O’Jay’s “Stairway To Heaven” and then they disappeared and left their fans hanging.

We were having one of our brainstorm meetings, here at ILOSM, and several questions came up about what happened after Pure Soul vanished from the spotlight.
