Milira became a school teacher at August Martin High School, and then she taught at Jamaica High School – both located in Queens, New York. During that time she also earned a BS in Speech Communications and a Masters in Education. Everything was going very well until she was blindsided with this: She was involved in a motorcycle accident and sustained extremely severe injured, which caused her to exit the classroom permanently.
The good thing is that she is all healed up now and has become a real estate investor in North Carolina and South Carolina. Her passion for music keeps calling her though, so she’s finally working on new music, which would be like a breathe of fresh air in today’s current musical climate, in my opinion.
