ILOSM fam’ we have some interesting info for y’all regarding singer, O’Bryan. Remember him? If you’re a true Old School music fan, you more than likely do…
O’Bryan Then…
Back in the day, we couldn’t go to a house party, club, nor school dance without hearing these lyrics bumping through the speakers at some point:
Here we are on earth together
It’s you and I
God has made us fall in love, it’s true
I’ve really found someone like you
Just thinking about that classic makes me wanna go buy a red lightbulb red lightbulb and get my slow drag on right about now. C’mon know family, let’s not act like I’m the only one…a lot of y’all have those memories too.
Anyways, about O’Bryan, he first caused mass hysteria with his Stevie Wonder penned 1983 hit single, “You and I” that will forever be a soul classic, “Together Always,” and several more. And a year before that, in 1982, he hit us with the classic, “The Gigolo.” All of this was soon after Soul Train founder, Don Cornelius, hooked O’Bryan up with the right people to land his record deal with Capital Records. Afterwards, the rest was history and to the disappointment of many R&B fans, so was his time in front of the R&B spotlight. He took a pretty long break from the industry but then had a change of heart…
We did a lil’ digging to find out what’s been up with O’Bryan these days and turns out, we didn’t have to dig all that much. The brotha is still in the music game and has been back since 2007 when he released his album, “F1RST.”
O’Bryan Now…

Today he’s making his 59 years age look like the new 39, and the ladies are still loving him everywhere he touches down.
