R. Kelly: Jocelyn Savage’s Parents Want Police Help, Checking On Daughter At Trump Tower

Jocelyn Savage: Parents Think Police Didn’t Do A Good Job Last Time

According to TMZ and Newsweek, the Savages aren’t giving up on their daughter, as they prepare for another attempted rescue from where she’s believed to be living. The family’s attorney, Gerald Griggs, also mentioned Azriel Clary — one of Kelly’s other girlfriends — is also reportedly staying with Jocelyn in the apartment.

Savage’s parents would conduct the welfare check on their own. However, allegedly, they’ve received various threats against their lives from R. Kelly’s goons — specifically, one “Henry James Mason” (Kelly’s former manager), who was also arrested for those threats in Spring 2018, according to Newsweek.

With that in mind, they’ve asked for police escort as they attempt to convince Jocelyn to leave R. Kelly. The source states that the Savage family doesn’t believe Cook County authorities performed an adequate search the last time, back in January — after Lifetime’s debut of Surviving R. Kelly.

This time, the family wants to be present when authorities check on their daughter to ensure they properly do it, leaving no corner unchecked, and no cabinet or closet unopened…no sign unnoticed.

Savage’s family and attorney have yet to receive an answer from Cook County authorities regarding the requested escort.
