In an Instastory, Kenya stated that before she boarded her flight to New York with her daughter, she stopped at a restaurant for a bite to eat. That’s when her daughter had a “complete blowout,” she said.
Kenya said after she laid her daughter down on the chair and changed her diaper, the manager walked over and said, “Number one: You’re not supposed to change diapers in a restaurant.”
“And number two: Here’s a bag for the dirty diaper, and you can take the fecal matter, basically, out with you.”
She said she didn’t know there were rules preventing parents from changing diapers in a restaurant.
Kenya may be a new mother, but some people feel as though she should have known not to change her daughter’s dirty diaper in an area where others are eating, as public restrooms are available.

In an Instagram post, Kenya told her followers that not knowing the dos and don’ts as a new mother was mortifying.
Instead of letting the incident get her down, Kenya went in search of an app called Peanut, which will prevent embarrassing moments like the one she experienced.
She suggested her mommy followers create a profile with Peanut to help bond with other moms.

One person said: “Sometimes the first thing on your mind is making sure your baby is ok and you forget all the rules around you. It happens, mommy moments! You love and you learn.”
“There will be critics everywhere, but trust me, they have done something stupid,” they continued. “Or thoughtless too when their baby was in need of something urgent and the time and location were inconvenient. Mommy on….and enjoy it.”
