Jada Pinkett-Smith is standing by her plan 1000% to boycott this year’s biased Oscars and we don’t blame her one bit. She recently was spotted at the airport in Flint, MI, where she was meeting with the mayor to discuss the water crisis there. Jada was asked her thoughts on the Academy’s plan to diversify their board in a few years to include more African Americans and other races- a change Jada should probably take some credit for after her boycott video went viral. Jada’s response was just as classy as her husband’s response to his former co-star, Janet Hubert.

Not only did she stand by her views on the matter, but she also suggested that we as humans all should do more to educate ourselves on he cultures of races other than our own, so that biases like what we see in Hollywood can end.

Jada also said that The Academy should not just expect any future Africa Americans they add to their panel to “vote Black” just because they are Black. We agree that that would be a very ignorant assumption as well.
