Apparently Ray has been working on this deal for quite some time. Hot New Hip Hop reports that Ray recently took to his Instagram page to give his followers some inside information about his next business move. Surrounded by members of his team as they prepare for a flight to Las Vegas Ray captioned the video;
Been working on deal for a year now!! Stayed up for days at a time getting work done! That’s why I look hella tired all the time! But It’s about to finally be official this week!! Jus wanna say thank you to my team in Kentucky, Arizona, California and Las Vegas! We’ve work hard to get to this point! Now let’s go get these Now let’s go get these MMMMs!

Though he kept the details at a minimum it’s clear by the look on his face he was in beast mode ready to chase and catch a check. But as the old saying goes you’ve got to spend money to make money. And in this case Ray dropped a whopping $5 million just to get into the marijuana game.
