The past week or so has been an extremely trying time for director, John Singleton’s, seven children. Ever since he recently passed away from a stroke, his kids have had to deal with their immense grief, apparent longstanding tension with their Grandmother (John’s mother), and now this…

There may be trouble brewing ahead among the seven Singleton children, as they prepare for a legal dispute that prior to their Pops death, they were apparently unaware they’d have to fight.

A few days ago, we informed y’all that the Boyz N’ The Hood director’s moms, Sheila Ward, filed a will in a California probate court, which caught many by surprise. Prior to the mysterious will suddenly surfacing, his children reportedly assumed he did not leave a will in the wake of his passing. The biggest surprise of it all, though, was that the only child named as the sole beneficiary of John’s assets, is his eldest child, Justice Singleton (26).

Fast forward to today and as we suspected, John’s 6 other children have lawyered up, according to TMZ, and are preparing to fight the validity of the will head on. Justice Singleton has also spoken out.
