If you’ve been following the R. Kelly scandal and his alleged horrific, abusive acts, then you probably are very familiar with the parents of some of the alleged victims. The latest revelations about the parents of R. Kelly’s girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage; as well as Michelle Kramer- the mother of Kelly’s ‘rescued’ ex-girlfriend, Dominique Gardner- have some fans giving them the side eye…and even more concerned for the young girlfriends involved.
Many may recall seeing Tim and Jonjelyn Savage in the Surviving R. Kelly docu-series, discussing their daughter, Joycelyn’s, relationship with R. Kelly and their quest to get her back.
The Savages believe Joycelyn has been brainwashed by R. Kelly and accuse R.Kelly of holding their daughter hostage. Joycelyn also appeared on R. Kelly’s now infamous crying interview with Gayle King, where she alluded that her parents were out for fame and money on the back of R. Kelly.
While it’s extremely likely that 23 year old Joycelyn probably is ‘brainwashed’ by her 52 year old boyfriend, R. Kelly…the Savages’ may have also just proven her right as well, with their prior actions that have recently been brought to the public’s attention.
