In recent years, we’ve watched T.I. transform into an activist, who often uses his influence to boldly speak up for equality and against injustices. In his continued boycott against fashion brands that have blatantly disrespected Black people, T.I. is now bringing attention to the latest boycott that was recently re-sparked by actor, George Clooney and the racial differences between the two groups they’re speaking up for.
T.I.’s boycott involves racism against Black folks. Clooney’s boycott involves homophobia against the LGBTQ community within the Islamic nation of Brunei.
Simply put, T.I. couldn’t help but notice the amount of dedication Clooney’s boycott call has sparked from several White celebs, including Ellen Degeneres, and Elton John, whom have each spoken out on the matter. So as a result, T.I. has made some very valid points and is also calling out some of his fellow African Americans on it.
