As the Braxton family grieves the devastating loss of the Braxton sisters’ niece, Tamar Braxton is getting called out after revealing why she is too “drained” to attend their niece’s homegoing service.
As previously reported, Tamar’s beloved niece, Lauren “Lolo” Braxton, was found deceased in a Baltimore home on August 29, 2019 at the very young age of 24. Lolo is the daughter of the Braxton sisters’ brother, Michael Braxton. As news of Lolo’s tragic passing spread across the internet, fans have shown an abundance of support, as they try to lift up the family at this time.
Since then, Toni, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar have all spoken out about Lolo’s death. However, it was Tamar’s recent Instagram Live confession that caused her to catch heat.
Tamar Confesses Her REAL Feelings About Niece’s Upcoming Funeral
In her 3:56 minute Instagram Live video, Tamar discussed her niece’s passing, her currently hectic schedule and her emotions with her 3 million IG followers.
She announced that she will be performing on Kandi Burruss’ “Dungeon Family” concert in Chicago.
In addition to the upcoming concert, Tamar said her niece, Lolo’s, death was “a lot” for her and that it was “the first time anybody in my family has passed.”
She went on to reveal the bad headache she was enduring at the time, and then explained why she was too “drained” go to Lolo’s funeral:
Tamar- “I don’t have time to go to the funeral. I’m still drained from that…It’s a lot…Everything happens in God’s divine order and you’ve got to respect it and praise him anyway.”
