Kenneth Williams admitted to being high on crack on the day he strangled his great aunt with a telephone cord and allegedly shot her in the head. Before he began serving his sentence for his aunt’s murder, he asked his sister, Paula (whom is also Paul Williams’ child) to save his portion of the inheritance he gets from his Dad’s royalty checks from Motown until he gets out. He claimed she agreed to do so, but when he stepped out, it was a whole ‘notha story.
Kenneth was release in July of 2011 and he said “I thought I was well off.” Well it turns out, he was more like well out…of money that is, because he claims that he was supposed to get approximately $200,000.00 but his sister spent it. According to estateofdenial.com:
'[Paul] Williams’ heirs split about $80,000 a year in Motown royalties based on sales of the group’s music, Paul Williams’ likeness and other rights. The royalties were paid out twice a year.'
