For well over a decade, we’ve been hearing domestic violence rumors about Empire star/singer, Terrence Howard (yep he’s a singer, we’ll get into that another time).

Terrence (48) has been married four times to three women and throughout three of his four marriages, the domestic violence allegations were pretty consistent.

In 2001 Howard came clean about hitting his first wife, Lori. In 2011, his second (and third) wife, Michelle Ghent, got a restraining order against him for allegedly punching and kicking her on a family vacation. Terrence claimed self defense in that case, but did admit to hitting her.

Although it’s easy to see “Lucious Lyon” possibly striking a woman out of anger, throughout the years, many of his fans found it difficult to see Terrence Howard- the man – as that guy.

Well, fast forward to 2017 and Terrence Howard stands before you as a man who is ready to share with the world, a character flaw he was not proud of. In an interview with People Magazine, Howard had a lot to say about his violent tendencies and what ultimately got him to change and stop beating the women he loves, including his current wife, Mira.
