Grammy-award winning singer Toni Braxton has broken her silence over the tragic death of her 24-year-old niece, Lauren “LoLo” Braxton.
The devastated 51-year-shared a heartbreaking Instagram post on Wednesday, two days after Lauren passed away from an apparent heart condition.

She Was Found Unresponsive
“R.I.P to my amazing niece Lauren ‘Lo Lo’ Braxton… I’m still in disbelief and so very heartbroken… Love you…always auntie ‘Te Te,'” Toni captioned a post of her and her niece.
The heartwarming photo posted was taken in 2016, and showed Lauren wrapping her arms around her famous aunt.
Her representative, Maureen O’Connor confirmed to USA TODAY that Lauren died Monday in Maryland. “We ask that you respect the family’s privacy in their time of sadness and loss,” the Braxton family said in a statement.
Lauren, affectionately known as Lolo to her friends and family, was found unresponsive in her Maryland home at around noon on Monday, according to TMZ.
“A Suspected Heart Condition”
Lauren’s father is Toni’s brother Michael Conrad Braxton Jr.
He confirmed to TMZ that she died as a result of a heart condition, however he did not confirm what the condition is.
Lauren was sadly pronounced dead by paramedics after a friend found her collapsed and unresponsive in her kitchen, according to a police report obtained by TMZ.
Michael, 50, is the only brother among the six Braxton siblings – Toni, 51, Traci, 48, Towanda, 45, Trina, 44, and Tamar, 42. The sisters star together on We TV’s Braxton Family Values.
