In the melody of Dionne Warwick’s 1985 classic, we’ll start this off with a collective serenade of “That’s what [RICH] friends are for.” When you see what Tyler Perry just bought for comedic actress, Tiffany Haddish- who will also be starring in his upcoming film, “Nobodys Fool”- you’ll understand why.
Tyler’s Surprise Video Message To Tiffany
The “Madea” film creator is worth about $600million. So what’s $80G’s to a brotha with that much in cash and assets, right? Not much, when it comes to gifting his homegirl, Tiffany, with a new vehicle just for the fun of it.
As most of us may already know (because Tiff’ points it out every chance she gets) Ms. Haddish prefers to live life on the more cost-efficient, frugal side of things. However, there is one purchase she’s long ago admitted that she would love to splurge on, if granted the opportunity and a large enough bank account. That is her love for the ever so classy Tesla Model X car.
That brings us to her friend, Tyler Perry, and his new gift. Even though Tiffany can now afford to purchase her own Tesla, given that she’s currently the hottest thing since sliced bread in Hollywood, she claims she never had a chance to slow up and purchase her car. According to Tyler though, that’s a bunch of bullcrap.
He thinks Tiff’ has yet to buy her dream car because she’s just started earning a certain type of income and is therefore, apprehensive about spending it, out of fear it may slow up soon. He said he can relate to the new lifestyle adjustment she’s trying to get used to, because he’s been there. Soooo, Tyler figured, ‘Ah, what the hell? Let me pick up that new $80,000.00 Tesla Model X for Tiff’ real quick, while I’m out.’ Okay, maybe he didn’t say it quite that way, but still…See what RICH friends will do for ya?
Here’s part of what Tyler told Tiffany in his video surprise (above), just before holding up the keys to her new car:
“I know you’ve been talking ’bout this for a long time. I was trying to talk you into going get it. I told you call the dealership, have them bring the car to you. You were like, ‘I don’t have time, I don’t have time.’ But I knwo what the real deal is. The real deal is, you gotta…be okay with spending a lil’ bit of money. So, I wanted to gift this to you and say you deserve it.”
Tiffany’s Emotional Response
Tiffany took to Instagram on Friday (July 6th) to thank Tyler and to also let fans know how she really felt when he surprised her with her new blue Tesla:
“So I got this message from my friend and Big Brother @tylerperry a week ago. When I tell you I cried so hard. I almost couldn’t believe it. 1st off a man has never bought me a car out right. I have always had to make payments. This was just out the kindness of his heart And probably tired of me talking about it all the time and I didn’t have to do anything for it but a Great job in our New Movie Nobody’s Fool. Thank God for kind people that want to spread happiness. I am now on my way to see if this is Really! Cause I am still waiting on the one @theellenshow said they would let me use for a week. #sheready #Tesla #Nobody’sFool #thelastblackunicorn”
